Ages 3 to 18+
Ballet Blake’s Pre-Professional Programs are structured to meet the highest artistic standards.
Led by Daniel and Julie Blake, the staff trains dancers to develop a strong foundation in classical ballet. With the discipline and confidence cultivated at Ballet Blake, students can pursue careers as professional dancers, or find success in other fields.
As part of the Pre-Professional Programs, students participate in a full schedule of evening dance classes, and have to option to perform in Ballet Blake’s annual productions.
Past productions have included The Nutcracker and our Spring Performances with excerpts of renowned pieces like Coppélia, Paquita and new, original workss.
Ages 18 and up
Maybe you took dance classes when you were younger; maybe you never have and are thinking about starting as a total beginner. No matter who you are, you don’t have to be a professional ballerina to reap benefits from adult ballet classes.
Wear what's comfortable, participate at your own pace!
Ballet shoes are highly recommended!
Ages 12 to 18+
This program is designed to help students focus on getting the most out of their dancing, as well as being able to prepare them for competitions. Getting to work consistently on developing a variation is of tremendous value to a student's growth.
Ages 12 to 18+
With guest instructor Logan Pachciarz, Co-Artistic Director of The Kansas City Dance Festival and Moving Arts Cincinnati. This class will expand on the conventional borders of ballet technique, and help dancers to better understand and explore the transitions in movement.
